After operating a commercial gallery for about two years, I can safely say that the only art that a gallerist is required to master is the delicate art of coaxing others.
While I'm perfectly capable of doing this, I also find little enjoyment in those mild manipulations over trivial matters, so I'm happy that I can once again be more upfront about my aims and motivations in the future.
