The international museum federation 'L'internationale' launched the 'Artists in Quarantine' project, in their own words to 'reflect on the subversive power of domestic spaces, in a world in which windows and balconies take on a new role in public life'.
One of the works in this project is a film by Zenyo Pekünlü 'about the perception of who is
deemed ‘responsible’ for the virus in media and conspiracy theories. The
piece has a telling title: '...but it's never capitalism’.'
So a system defined by its decentralised decision making isn't included in theories that try to pinpoint a problem to the motives of a single subject? That sure is a real conundrum...
